Recently, Kehui Transmission System (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. announced that its research and development team has successfully developed a new type of polyurethane material based on PPDI (p-phenyldiisocyanate). This material has excellent high-speed resistance and flexural flexibility, and can maintain stable performance in extreme environments, making it particularly suitable for high-speed operating equipment such as roller coasters and weaving machinery.
It is understood that PPDI material is a high-performance polyurethane raw material, and its heat resistance and high-speed resistance far exceed traditional materials. The R&D team of Kehui Transmission has successfully solved the technical difficulties of PPDI material in the processing by optimizing the formula and process, making it widely applicable in the industrial field.
In actual testing, this new polyurethane material has demonstrated excellent performance. For example, in a roller coaster project at a well-known amusement park, the roller made of PPDI material maintained good stability and durability even at an instantaneous speed of 160 kilometers per hour. In addition, the material has also been applied in weaving machinery in the textile industry, significantly improving the production efficiency and operating life of the equipment.
The technical director of Kehui Transmission stated that the successful development of PPDI materials not only fills the technological gap in this field in China, but also opens up new directions for the application of polyurethane materials. In the future, the company will continue to explore the research and development of high-performance materials to promote technological progress in the polyurethane industry.
